Diagnosis
The thorough medical history and clinical examination, combined with laboratory measurements, constitute the cornerstone of accurate diagnosis. These diagnostic tools include handheld Doppler ultrasoundassessment and the measurementof the Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI) both at rest and under exercise.
Non-Surgical Treatment Options
At Vascular Therapy, everything is determined by the patient, as the risk is individualized based on existing comorbidities, and all potential interventions are weighed against the risks they entail. In accordance with the Hippocratic mandate "to help, or at least to do no harm", we guarantee that the patient is offered the solution with the maximum possible benefit and the minimum possible risk.
In most patients, the conservative steps that can help relieve symptoms have not been fully tried. At Vascular Therapy, patients are guided to make deliberate lifestyle changes —moving in the opposite direction from the habits that led to the disease. In addition, medication is optimized, and in many cases—especially in patients with very high perioperative risk—it becomes clear that "Surgery is not your only option".
Vascular Imaging & Scanning
Triplex (Color Duplex) imaging is a non-invasive diagnostic test that uses ultrasound to visualize blood vessels. It allows us to assess δομή the vessel structure, blood flow , and whether there are any blockages or narrowings. It is an for diagnosing and monitoring of vascular disease.
Preoperative Assessment & Evaluation
Because blood vessels throughout the entire body, can be affected by atherosclerosis we assess the patient as a whole before surgery and carry out a thorough preoperative clinical and laboratory evaluation.Close collaboration with leading Cardiologists, Pneumonologists, Nephrologists, Neurologists, Radiologists and Endocrinologists helps ensure the right preoperative plan, while intraoperative teamwork with Anesthesiologists experienced in vascular surgery helps achieve the best possible outcome for the patient.
"Surgery is not your only option"

Postoperative Monitoring – Long-term Follow-Up
Achieving long-lasting results with the highest possible safety for the patient requires regular postoperative follow-up. Vascular Therapy patients receive clear instructions for scheduling their re-examinations, ensuring that vascular events are detected early and recurrences are prevented before they cause irreversible damage, often using minimally invasive methods.
